Well, bad news.
It seems the guys I try to message on this site haven't been on in a while. They will message me back and say that they have already found someone.
Is this just me, or have I not met enough of you out there?

Hi there. Yeah, that's the problem, I suppose. Alot of people just leave for lack of finding anyone, or they DO find someone and don't bother updating the profile or letting anyone know. I have people on my friends list here who just never signed in again.

Yeah I know what u mean. And it's even hard to find someone close by. Closes person to where I live is 40 miles away! By the time I get there it's time to come back!

It would take me a while to travel 40 miles on my horse  Be patient when you stop looking you start finding

patience is certainly the key! One i've had to learn and learn everyday.
I was fortunate to find a great man on this site 2 months into my joining this website. He, however, had been on this site for over a year before I first sent him a message. I just read the forums, old & new threads, & I came across a lot of his posts & found him very intriguing..SO, I left a message, & he replied, and we sent messages back & forth for a little while, then moved onto messenger, & voice chat, & before we knew it, we were meeting in person & 1 year & 5 months later, we are still together & serious 
we take turns meeting, he just flew here the end of Feb. for a week, that was our 3rd time together in person. I flew there(he's in Cali.) this past Aug. for 2 weeks. I'm also looking forward to flying out there again this summer:D God has truly blessed him & I.
BUT, I had one downfall before I met him here, met another guy here that was totally a mistake..he was a good guy BUT..not right for me at all. I always have to learn the hard way :/
Anywho, i'm rambling today & need sleep.
there are a lot of "idle" people on this website, that just don't care to have their profile deleted, or they just completely forget about it, or just keep it to have friends & chat.
We mustn't lose hope though, or faith..whether "the one" is here or there or somewhere, they will be known in time, when we are ready, and they are ready.

I've been on many dating sites. They never seem to go anywhere. I stay here because I like to read the forums and I meet great people in the process. I can always hear some great advice on here.
I figure why get rid of this? Maybe one day someone will come along from here. but that's not my main reason for staying. It's because of all of you and hearing what you all have to say.

I come on here in occassion. Been on here in awhile and just come for the forums now usually. When I looked I never found anyone and when I stopped looking, never found anyone. It's easier on me to not look so that's what I'm sticking to since they seem to both have the same outcome. It's just not God's timing.

What a great answer! That's so true, this site is not just to find a date. It's about fellowship with Christian singles and building friendships. A romantic relationship may come, but like most good things, it won't happen over night! And the price is certainly right!
